RAL colours in QuarkXPress
This DTP program is found in almost every editorship
and advertising agency. The colour fidelity is successful with RAL C1 DIGITAL
4.0 – from conceptual design all the way to print, because the colours
were matched by hand using the CMYK colour atlases.

Using RAL colours in QuarkXPress
Changing the output optimisation
In contrast to almost all other programs, QuarkXPress also offers the ability to customise the output quality of colours in a document for varying output situations (printer, lighting,...) retrospectively. You would go about that in the following manner:
Problem when
changing the colour mode
It was observed that, in QuarkXPress 5.0, the colours change as
soon as the colour mode is switched in the “edit colours” window
(e.g. from CMYK to RGB or to Lab). It is apparently an Xpress-conversion
problem,
thus the colour mode should not be switched.

The
RAL-colours will be taken up in the current document and
indicated in the window ”colours” through ”edit/colours/attach”
